The user information drop down menu allows access to the "Help" page, your profile, secondary sourced information, reports, and logging out. Expanded information on each of these items are the following:

Help -- Access the "Help" content on MyMarketNews, which is where the MyMarketNews manual and FAQs are located.

My Profile -- View our profile and make limited changes.

Secondary Sourced Info -- Navigates you to four different websites—API Admin, APHIS Data, NOAA Data, NASS Data—where MyMarketNews secondary information is sourced from.

The Manage Tab is a resource that allows users to view commodity hierarchies, manage Market Type information, and manage/query secondary source data (e.g. CME & NASS). 

Manage Hierarchy:

Guides users to view/edit hierarchy of all commodities within all market types in MARS application. A staggered hierarchy depicts a clear path for drilling down to specific commodity data. An important distinction to note is that all commodities are sorted by their classification not by their associated department. For example, wool and cotton are grouped in Fibers. 

View/Edit Hierarchy Data: The View/Edit Hierarchy Data button shows a comprehensive list of all the properties, attributes, and commodity information that are associated with the market type. Any user is able to view this section, however, only those with Administrative privileges can edit.

View Fields Dependency: The View Field Dependency button allows users to view the hierarchy of a commodity within any market type. A staggered hierarchy depicts a clear path for drilling down to specific commodity data. Commodities are sorted by their classification not by their associated department. So, in MARS, wool and cotton are grouped in Fibers. Not every commodity has every hierarchy level, as seen below. Also, Attributes are characteristics of a specific commodity, and appear with an eye-icon in the hierarchy table.
