National Feedstuffs Market Review

The USDA Market News Service reports fed ingredient prices for the week ending 
Tuesday February 9, 2021 were mixed. Soybean Meal was 2.00 to 20.70 higher, mostly 
10.70 higher. Cottonseed Meal was mixed 15.00 lower to 5.00 higher. Whole Cottonseed 
was steady to 10.00 higher. Canola Meal was mixed, 17.00 lower to 17.00 higher. 
Linseed Meal was steady. Sunflower Meal was steady. Crude Soybean Oil was 220 to 270 
points higher. Crude Corn Oil was steady. Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal was steady to 
15.00 higher. Ruminant Blood Meal was 15.00 to 75.00 higher. Feather Meal was steady 
to 25.00 higher. Yellow Corn Hominy was mixed, 2.00 lower to 18.00 higher. Corn 
Gluten Feed was mixed, 11.00 lower to 15.00 higher. Corn Gluten Meal was steady to 
30.00 higher. Distillers Dried Grain were mixed, 15.00 lower to 14.00 higher. Wheat 
Millfeeds were steady to 5.00 higher. Wheat Millrun was steady to 15.00 higher.

Oilseeds: The March Soybean Meal futures closed 10.70 higher at 438.70, May closed 
12.10 higher at 437.60 and July closed 12.40 higher at 433.00. The March Soybean Oil 
futures closed 220 points higher at 46.52 cents per pound, May closed 215 points 
higher at 45.77 cents per pound and July closed 198 points higher at 44.97 cents per 
pound.   The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Central Illinois was 10.70 
higher from 435.70-438.70; Indiana-Ohio was 12.70 to 15.70 higher from 443.70-458.70; 
Iowa was 10.70 higher from 427.70-437.70; Kansas City was 7.70 to 10.70 higher from 
442.70-444.70; Minneapolis truck was 5.70 to 6.70 higher from 423.70-432.70, St. 
Louis was 2.00 higher from 464.00-469.00; Memphis was 12.70 to 20.70 higher from 
458.70-468.70; Portland was 5.70 to 12.00 higher from 486.70-507.00; BN Santa 
Fe/Union Pacific delivered Chino Valley was 5.70 to 10.70 higher from 489.70-508.70. 
Cottonseed Meal FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in California was steady to 5.00 
lower from 360.00-382.00; Kansas City was mixed, 15.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 
465.00-485.00; St. Louis was mixed, 15.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 460.00-480.00; 
Memphis was steady at 460.00. Whole Cottonseed FOB the Central San Joaquin Valley in 
California was steady to 10.00 higher from 410.00-425.00; delivered to Portland was 
steady from 430.00-465.00; Memphis was steady at 325.00. Offers for nearby delivered 
Canola Meal 34 to 36 percent protein, delivered to Portland was 10.70 to 17.00 higher 
from 371.70-392.00; FOB Central San Joaquin Valley truck was steady to 17.00 lower 
from 365.00-383.00; Minneapolis was 10.70 higher from 338.70-373.70. Linseed Meal, 34 
pct protein was steady at 280.00 with limited trade in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady from 250.00-320.00 in 
the North Dakota-Minnesota area. The Soybean Oil in Central Illinois was 220 to 245 
points higher from 47.52-48.02 cents per pound; Indiana-Ohio was 220 to 270 points 
higher at 48.02 cents per pound; Iowa was 220 to 270 points higher from 47.77-49.02; 
Minnesota was 220 to 270 points higher from 48.08-49.02 cents per pound. Crude Corn 
Oil in Central Illinois was steady at 43.25 cents per pound.

ANIMAL PROTEINS: Ruminant Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was steady at 
390.00; FOB the Texas Panhandle was steady at 325.00; Minneapolis was steady from 
300.00-365.00; St. Louis was not available; Portland FOB Northwest Plants was steady 
to 15.00 higher from 200.00-325.00; FOB Central and Northern California was steady at 
225.00 in limited trade; FOB Los Angeles was steady at 225.00 in limited trade. Pork 
Meat and Bone Meal in the Central U.S. was steady to 10.00 lower from 350.00-410.00; 
Eastern Corn Belt was steady at 410.00; Minneapolis was steady to 10.00 higher from 
360.00-410.00, St. Louis was not available. Ruminant Blood Meal in the Central U.S. 
was 15.00 to 25.00 higher at 1000.00; the Texas Panhandle was at 1075.00; Minneapolis 
was 25.00 to 100.00 higher from 975.00-1075.00; delivered to the San Joaquin Valley 
was 75.00 higher at 1125.00 in limited trade. Pork Blood Meal in the Central U.S. was 
50.00 higher from 1100.00-1200.00; Eastern Corn Belt was 50.00 higher at 1250.00; 
Minneapolis steady to 50.00 higher from 1050.00-1150.00. Feather Meal in Kansas City 
was 5.00 to 15.00 higher from 565.00-575.00; Minneapolis was steady to 15.00 higher 
from 545.00-600.00; Arkansas was 20.00 higher from 545.00-560.00; Mississippi was 
25.00 higher from 545.00-560.00. 

CORN FEEDS: Yellow Corn Hominy in Central Illinois was steady at 155.00 for rail, 
truck was 5.00 higher at 165.00; Kansas City (Northwest) was not available; St. Louis 
was not available; California rail was mixed, 2.00 lower to 18.00 higher at 238.00. 
Corn Gluten Feed in the Midwest (NE,IA,IL,IN) was 15.00 higher from 175.00-185.00; 
Kansas City was 5.00 to 11.00 lower from 239.00-255.00; St. Louis was steady at 
250.00, California was mixed, 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 260.00-270.00. Corn 
Gluten Meal, 60 percent protein in the Midwest (IA, IL, IN) was 10.00 to 30.00 higher 
from 610.00-660.00; Kansas City was not available; St. Louis was steady at 730.00. 
Distillers Dried Grain prices in Iowa was 5.00 to 8.00 lower from 212.00-235.00; 
Eastern Cornbelt (IL, IN, OH, MI) was mixed, 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 230.00-
255.00; Kansas was steady from 225.00-235.00; Minnesota was 2.00 to 5.00 lower from 
205.00-225.00; Nebraska was mixed, 15.00 lower to 7.00 higher from 205.00-239.00; 
Wisconsin was steady to 5.00 higher from 225.00-235.00; South Dakota was steady to 
2.00 higher from 217.00-235.00; Missouri was steady to 3.00 lower from 245.00-260.00; 
St. Louis was not available; California was 4.00 to 14.00 higher from 294.00-298.00; 
Pacific Northwest mills were 13.00 higher from 293.00-305.00.

WHEAT MILLFEEDS: Wheat Millfeeds in Buffalo, NY was steady at 150.00; Kansas City was 
5.00 higher from 180.00-190.00; Minneapolis truck was steady to 5.00 higher from 
125.00-160.00; St. Louis was 3.00 to 5.00 higher from 175.00-190.00. Wheat Millrun 
delivered Portland was steady at 250.00 in limited test; FOB Los Angeles mill was 
steady to 15.00 higher from 160.00-195.00.

OTHERS: In the south Rice Bran, Millfeed and Rice Hulls were steady.  In California, 
Rice Bran and Rice hulls were steady. Alfalfa Meal prices were steady to 10.00 higher 
across the nation this past week.
