Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, October 12, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The October Soybean Meal futures closed 7.30 lower at 312.90, December closed 
8.20 lower at 313.00 and January closed 8.20 lower at 315.00. The October Soybean Oil 
futures closed 227 points lower at 58.62 cents per pound, December closed 229 points 
lower at 58.85 cents per pound and January closed 208 points higher at 58.87 cents 
per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 8.12 to 
11.20 lower from 298.00-301.00, the basis was from 15.00 to 12.00 under the December 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 250.00-275.00 in 
the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
5.00 to 15.00 lower from 200.00-225.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola 
Meal was 8.20 to 13.20 lower from 233.00-258.00, the basis was steady to 5.00 lower 
from 80.00 to 55.00 under the December Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota 
was 229 points lower from 70.85-77.35 cents per pound, the basis was from 1200 to 
1850 points over the December Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 30.00 to 40.00 lower from 200.00-280.00; 
Pork was 10.00 to 70.00 lower from 230.00-315.00. Yellow Grease was 350 to 400 points 
higher from 46-50.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 250 points 
higher from 50.00-53.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was mixed, 50.00 lower to 10.00 
higher from 460.00-525.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 lower from 925.00-
1000.00; Pork was steady to 25.00 lower from 1025.00-1100.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady from 135.00-155.00.
