Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, October 5, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The October Soybean Meal futures closed 17.10 lower at 320.20, December closed 
18.30 lower at 321.20 and January closed 18.60 lower at 323.20. The October Soybean 
Oil futures closed 312 points higher at 60.89 cents per pound, December closed 368 
points higher at 61.14 cents per pound and January closed 345 points higher at 60.95 
cents per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 
20.10 to 23.10 lower from 306.20-312.20, the basis was from 15.00 under the December 
Soybean Meal futures to 8.00 under the October Soybean Meal futures.  Linseed Meal, 
34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 250.00-275.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower 
from 215.00-230.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 16.10 to 18.30 
lower from 246.20-266.20, the basis was from 75.00 to 55.00 under the December 
Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was mixed, 463 points lower to 137 
points higher from 73.14-79.64 cents per pound, the basis was from 1200 to 1850 
points over the December Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 to 20.00 lower from 230.00-320.00; 
Pork was 5.00 to 15.00 lower from 300.00-325.00. Yellow Grease was steady to 250 
points higher from 42.50-46.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to 250 
points higher from 50.00-51.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was from 450.00-575.00. 
Ruminant Blood Meal was 25.00 lower from 925.00-1025.00; Pork was steady to 50.00 
lower from 1050.00-1100.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady to 5.00 lower from 135.00-155.00.

Bids/Offers prices are FOB, bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
