Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, September 28, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The October Soybean Meal futures closed 60 cents lower at 337.30, December 
closed 2.30 lower at 339.50 and January closed 2.60 cents lower at 341.80. The 
October Soybean Oil futures closed 245 points higher at 57.77 cents per pound, 
December closed 217 points higher at 57.46 cents per pound and January closed 213 
points higher at 57.50 cents per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean 
Meal in Minnesota was mixed, 5.60 cents lower to 1.40 higher from 329.30-332.30, the 
basis was 2.00 to 5.00 lower from 8.00 to 5.00 under the October Soybean Meal 
futures.  Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 250.00-270.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 
15.00 higher from 215.00-235.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 
1.40 to 11.60 higher from 264.50-282.50, the basis was from 75.00 under the December 
Soybean Meal futures to 55.00 under the October Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 245 points higher from 77.77-78.27 cents per pound, the basis was 
steady from 2000 to 2050 points over the October Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 250.00-330.00; Pork was 
steady to 5.00 lower from 315.00-330.00. Yellow Grease was steady from 40.00-46.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady from 47.50-50.00 cents per pound. 
Feather Meal was steady to 10.00 lower from 450.00-510.00, with an instance of 
600.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 lower from 950.00-1050.00; Pork was 
mixed, 50.00 lower to 50.00 higher at 1100.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady to 5.00 higher from 135.00-160.00.

Bids/Offers prices are FOB, bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
