Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, August 24, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The September Soybean Meal futures closed 5.20 lower at 354.90, October closed 
6.50 lower at 352.80, December closed 7.20 lower at 355.70. The September Soybean Oil 
futures closed 145 points lower at 61.09 cents per pound, October closed 158 points 
lower at 60.61 cents per pound and December closed 157 points lower at 60.55 cents 
per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 5.20 
lower from 339.90-349.90, the basis was steady from 15.00 to 6.00 under the September 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower from 
270.00-300.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 
pct protein was 10.00 to 30.00 higher from 190.00-250.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 5.20 lower from 274.90-294.90, the basis was steady 
from 80.00 to 60.00 under the September Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 145 points lower from 81.09-86.59 cents per pound, the basis was steady 
from 2000 to 2550 points over the September Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 325.00-385.00; Pork was 
steady from 350.00-450.00. Yellow Grease was steady from 46.00-50.00 cents per pound. 
Choice White Grease was steady from 60.00-66.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 
steady from 450.00-510.00, with an instance of 600.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady 
from 950.00-1150.00; Pork was steady from 1075.00-1200.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were 10.00 higher from 130.00-170.00.
