Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, August 17, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The September Soybean Meal futures closed 2.60 higher at 360.10, October closed 
3.30 higher at 359.60. The September Soybean Oil futures closed 135 points higher at 
62.54 cents per pound, October closed 149 points higher at 62.19 cents per pound. The 
Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 2.60 to 5.60 higher from 
345.10-354.10, the basis was steady to 3.00 higher from 15.00 to 6.00 under the 
September Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was mixed, 10.00 lower 
to 5.00 higher from 275.00-300.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 
13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 30.00 lower from 180.00-220.00 in the 
North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 2.60 to 9.60 higher from 280.10-300.10, 
the basis was steady to 7.00 lower from 80.00 to 60.00 under the September Soybean 
Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was mixed, 165 points lower to 135 points 
higher from 82.54-88.04 cents per pound, the basis was steady to 300 lower from 2000 
to 2550 points over the September Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower from 325.00-385.00; 
Pork was steady to 50.00 lower from 350.00-450.00. Yellow Grease was steady to 100 
points higher from 46.00-50.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 400 
points higher from 60.00-66.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 450.00-
510.00, with an instance of 600.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 100.00 higher 
from 950.00-1150.00; Pork was steady to 100.00 higher from 1075.00-1200.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were 10.00 higher from 120.00-160.00.

Bids/Offers prices are FOB, bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
