Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, April 20, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The May Soybean Meal futures closed 15.40 higher at 410.40, July closed 14.70 
higher at 414.70 and August closed 14.40 higher at 411.90. The May Soybean Oil 
futures closed 529 points higher at 58.32 cents per pound, July closed 399 points 
higher at 55.14 cents per pound and August closed 312 points higher at 52.34 cents 
per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 5.40 to 
15.40 higher from 395.40-397.40, the basis was steady to 10.00 lower from 15.00 to 
13.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady at 
300.00 with limited trade in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct 
fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 higher from 250.00-255.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 15.40 higher from 325.40-350.40, the basis was steady 
from 85.00 60.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 
4.79 to 5.29  higher at 78.32 cents per pound, the basis was 2000 points over the May 
Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 lower from 290.00-380.00; Pork was 
5.00 to 10.00 lower from 370.00-405.00. Yellow Grease was 2.00 to 5.00 lower from 
37.00-40.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 50 cents lower from 
46.00-51.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was from 450.00-535.00, with an instance of 
680.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was 50.00 lower from 950.00-1050.00; Pork was steady to 
25.00 higher from 1000.00-1075.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady to 20.00 lower from 130.00-150.00.
