Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, January 19, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The March Soybean Meal futures closed 14.90 lower at 450.50 and May closed 
11.40 lower at 447.00. The March Soybean Oil futures closed 93 points lower at 41.70 
cents per pound and May closed 114 points lower at 41.19 cents per pound. The Truck 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 11.90 to 13.90 lower from 
438.50-448.50, the basis was 1.00 to 3.00 lower from 12.00 to 2.00 under the March 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was mixed, 10.00 lower to 5.00 
higher from 290.00-365.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct 
fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 20.00 higher from 250.00-320.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 4.90 to 9.90 lower from 345.50-370.50, the 
basis was 10.00 to 5.00 lower from 105.00-80.00 under the March Soybean Meal futures. 
Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 93 points lower from 42.70-43.20 cents per pound, the 
basis was steady from 100-150 points over the March Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 300.00-360.00; Pork was 
steady to 35.00 higher from 320.00-385.00. Yellow Grease was 100 to 650 points higher 
from 29.00-38.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was mixed, 200 points lower to 
350 points higher from 31.00-40.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 
490.00-600.00, with an instance of 700.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady from 
800.00-950.00; Pork was steady to 25.00 lower from 950.00-975.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 higher from 115.00-155.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
