Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, January 05, 2021

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
       The January Soybean Meal futures closed 8.40 higher at 435.40, March closed 
7.50 higher at 431.80 and May closed 7.50 higher at 428.50. The January Soybean Oil 
futures closed 188 points higher at 44.36 cents per pound, March closed 185 points 
higher at 43.60 cents per pound and May closed 190 points higher at 42.88 cents per 
pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was mixed, 2.20 
lower to 2.80 higher from 416.80-424.80, the basis was from 15.00 to 7.00 under the 
March Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower 
from 255.00-290.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 
34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 225.00-300.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 4.80 to 9.80 higher from 316.80-351.80, the basis was 
115 to 80 under the March Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 137 to 
187 points higher from 44.85-45.10 cents per pound, the basis was from 125 to 150 
points over the March Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 280.00-320.00; Pork was 
steady to 10.00 higher from 280.00-350.00. Yellow Grease was steady from 26.00-28.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 points higher from 30.00-35.00 cents per 
pound. Feather Meal was 20.00 to 75.00 higher from 475.00-500.00. Ruminant Blood Meal 
was steady from 800.00-900.00; Pork was steady from 875.00-975.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were from 110.00-155.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
