Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, October 6, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mostly higher this week 

Oilseeds:
       The October Soybean Meal futures closed 27.00 higher at 354.30, December closed 
23.60 higher at 355.50 and January closed 21.00 higher at 352.60. The October Soybean 
Oil futures closed 42 points higher at 33.29 cents per pound, December closed 40 
points higher at 33.09 cents per pound and January closed 36 points higher at 33.10 
cents per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 
18.60 to 23.60 higher from 332.50-343.50, the basis ranged 23.00 to 12.00 under the 
December Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was mixed, 25.00 lower to 
15.00 higher from 215.00-245.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 
13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was mixed, 10.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 180.00-250.00 
in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was mixed, 13.60 to 23.60 higher from 
255.50-305.50, the basis was from 100.00 to 50.00 under the December Soybean Meal 
futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 22 points higher from 33.59-34.34 cents per 
pound, the basis was from 50 to 125 points over the December Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 200.00-220.00; Pork was 
steady from 220.00-250.00. Yellow Grease was steady to 200 points higher from 23.00-
26.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 50 points lower from 28.00-
29.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 300.00-320.00 with an instance of 
390.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 higher from 550.00-700.00; Pork was 
steady from 610.00-700.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady from 90.00-130.00

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
