Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, August 25, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mostly lower this week 

Oilseeds:
       The September Soybean Meal futures closed 4.60 lower at 291.60, the October 
closed 4.10 lower at 294.50 and December closed 3.00 lower at 300.00. The September 
Soybean Oil futures closed 40 points higher at 31.98 cents per pound, October closed 
42 points higher at 32.07 cents per pound and December closed 38 points higher at 
32.28 cents per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota 
was 4.70 to 7.70 lower from 276.50-288.50, the basis ranged 18.00 to 6.00 under the 
October Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher 
from 250.00-265.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 
34 pct protein was steady from 200.00-240.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. 
Canola Meal was mixed, 4.10 lower to 3.30 higher from 219.50-259.50, the basis ranged 
75.00 to 35.00 under the October Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 
40 points higher from 32.48-33.48 cents per pound, the basis was steady from 50 to 
150 points over the September Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 165.00-
200.00; Pork was steady to 10.00 higher from 220.00-225.00.  Yellow Grease was steady 
to 200 points higher from 18.00-24.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 50 to 
150 points higher from 24.00-26.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 5.00 
higher from 265.00-295.00, with an instance of 350.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was mixed, 
25.00 lower to 35.00 higher from 475.00-575.00; Pork was steady from 575.00-600.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady from 75.00-102.00

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified.
