Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, August 18, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mostly lower this week 

Oilseeds:
       The September Soybean Meal futures closed at 12.10 higher at 296.20, October 
closed 12.70 higher at 298.60 and December closed 13.50 higher at 303.00. The 
September Soybean Oil futures closed 96 points higher at 31.58 cents per pound, 
October closed 119 points higher at 31.65 cents per pound and December closed 139 
points higher at 31.90. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota 
was 3.10 to 12.10 higher from 281.20-296.20, the basis was from 15.00 to 0.00 under 
the September Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady at 250.00 
in a limited test in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 
34 pct protein was steady to 10.00 higher from 200.00-240.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 7.10 to 14.50 higher to from 223.60-256.20, the basis 
ranged 75.00 under the October futures to 35.00 under the September Soybean Meal 
futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 96 points higher from 32.08-33.08 cents per 
pound, the basis was from 50 to 150 points over the September Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
       Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 160.00-200.00; Pork was 
steady to 30.00 higher from 210.00-225.00.  Yellow Grease was steady from 16.00-24.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady from 22.50 to 25.50 cents per pound. 
Feather Meal was 15.00 to 20.000 higher from 260.00-295.00, with an instance of 
350.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 higher from 440.00-600.00; Pork was 
steady from 575.00-600.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady to 3.00 lower from 75.00-102.00

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
