Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 26, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
The July Soybean Meal futures closed 70 cents lower at 283.90 and August closed 50 
cents lower 286.00. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 18 points higher at 27.27 
cents per pound and August closed 17 points higher at 27.45 cents per pound. The Rail 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 8.70 to 10.70 lower from 
275.90-278.90, the basis was 8.00 to 10.00 lower from 8.00 to 5.00 under the July 
Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 230.00-285.00 in 
the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
steady from 180.00-185.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was mixed, 
70 cents lower from 213.90-243.90, the basis was steady from 70.00 to 40.00 under the 
July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 18 points higher from 26.27-
27.02 cents per pound, the basis was steady from 100 to 25 points under the July 
Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was mixed, 15.00 lower to 15.00 higher from 
250.00-285.00 in a limited test; Pork was mixed, 50.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 
235.00-300.00.  Yellow Grease was steady to 100 points higher from 19.00-21.00 cents 
per pound. Choice White Grease was steady from 23.00-24.00 cents per pound. Feather 
Meal was steady to 10.00 higher from 350.00-400.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 
50.00 lower from 850.00-975.00; Pork was 75.00 lower with limited trade at 950.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady from 70.00-85.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
