Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 19, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
The July Soybean Meal futures closed 7.50 lower at 284.60 and August closed 6.30 
lower at 286.50. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 83 points higher at 27.09 cents 
per pound and August closed 83 points higher at 27.28 cents per pound. The Rail 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 7.50 lower from 284.60-289.60, 
the basis was steady from option (0) to 5.00 over the July Soybean Meal futures. 
Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 230.00-285.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 higher from 
180.00-150.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was mixed, 7.50 lower 
to 2.50 higher from 214.60-244.60, the basis was steady to 10.00 higher from 70.00 to 
40.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 83 points 
higher from 26.09-26.84 cents per pound, the basis was steady from 100 to 25 points 
under the July Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 20.00 to 65.00 lower from 235.00-300.00 in 
a limited test; Pork was limited from 225.00-350.00.  Yellow Grease was 200 points 
lower from 18.00-21.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady from 23.00-
24.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 35.00 to 50.00 lower from 350.00-390.00. 
Ruminant Blood Meal was 25.00 to 150.00 lower from 850.00-1025.00; Pork was 25.00 
lower with limited trade at 1075.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 2.00 higher from 70.00-85.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
