Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 12, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
The July Soybean Meal futures closed 2.70 higher at 292.10 and August closed 2.40 
higher at 292.80. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 13 points higher at 26.26 cents 
per pound and August closed 4 points lower at 26.45 cents per pound. The Rail 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 2.70 higher from 292.10-
297.10, the basis was steady from option (0) to 5.00 over the July Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady fom 230.00-285.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 
5.00 lower from 175.00-180.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 
2.70 higher from 212.10-252.10, the basis was steady from 80.00 to 40.00 under the 
July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was mixed, 12 points lower to 13 
points higher from 25.26-26.01 cents per pound, the basis was steady to 25 points 
lower from 100 to 25 points under the July Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein ranged 300.00-320.00 in a limited test; Pork 
was limited at 450.00.  Yellow Grease was steady to 100-points higher from 20.00-
23.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease 100 points lower from 23.00-24.00 cents 
per pound. Feather Meal was 25.00 higher from 400.00-425.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was 
steady to 100.00 higher from 1000.00-1050.00; Pork was limited at 1100.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were 10.00 to 12.00 lower from 70.00-83.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
