Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 05, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
The July Soybean Meal futures closed 1.00 higher at 289.40 and August closed 1.00 
higher at 290.40. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 36 points higher at 26.13 cents 
per pound and August closed 52 points higher at 26.49 cents per pound. The Rail 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 1.00 higher from 289.40-
294.40, the basis was steady from option (0) to 5.00 over the July Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 10.00 higher from 230.00-285.00 
in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
mixed, 15.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 175.00-185.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Canola Meal was mixed, 14.00 lower to 1.00 higher from 209.40-249.40, the basis 
was steady to 15.00 lower from 80.00 to 40.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. 
Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 36 to 83 points higher from 25.13-26.13 cents per pound, 
the basis ranged 100 points under to option (+0) the July Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 25.00 lower from 300.00-400.00; 
Pork was steady to 50.00 higher from 500.00-525.00.  Yellow Grease ranged 20.00-22.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease ranged 24.00-25.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal 
was steady to 25.00 lower from 375.00-400.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady from 
900.00-1050.00; Pork was steady to 50.00 lower from 915.00-1100.00 in limited trade.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were 15.00 lower from 80.00-95.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
