Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, April 28, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
he May Soybean Meal futures closed 7.30 lower at 281.80, July closed 6.10 lower at 
288.40 and August closed 5.70 lower at 289.40. The May Soybean Oil futures closed 5 
points lower at 25.30 cents per pound, July closed 1 point higher at 25.77 cents per 
pound and August closed 1 point higher at 25.97 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 1.10 to 4.10 lower from 288.40-293.40, the 
basis was 2.00 to 3.00 higher from option (0) to 5.00 over the July Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 15.00 lower from 220.00-285.00 in 
the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
mixed, 5.00 lower to 5.00 higher from 170.00-200.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Canola Meal was 1.10 to 6.10 lower from 223.40-248.40, the basis was steady to 
5.00 higher from 65.00 to 40.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 5 to 8 points lower from 24.77-25.30 cents per pound, the basis ranged 
100 points under the July to option (+0) the May Soybean Oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 to 25.00 higher from 325.00-400.00; 
Pork was 50.00 to 75.00 higher from 450.00-525.00.  Yellow Grease was steady to 50 
points higher from 21.00-28.50, mostly 21.00-22.00 cents per pound. Choice White 
Grease was mixed, 300 points lower to 100 points higher from 24.00-29.00, mostly 
24.00-25.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 20.00 to 25.00 higher at 400.00, 
instances 550.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was mixed, 50.00 lower to 50.00 higher from 
900.00-1050.00; Pork ranged 915.00-1150.00 in limited trade.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 higher from 95.00-110.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPL, other ingredients are FOB.
