Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, January 28, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
The March Soybean Meal futures closed 1.50 lower at 297.60, May closed 1.90 lower at 
301.90. The March Soybean Oil futures closed 129 points lower at 31.46 cents per 
pound, May closed 126 points lower at 31.83 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was mixed, 1.50 lower to 2.50 higher from 
271.60 to 277.60, the basis was steady to 4.00 higher from 26.00 to 20.00 under the 
March Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 10.00 to 45.00 higher 
240.00-300.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 
pct protein was mixed, 5.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 170.00-205.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was mixed, 8.00 lower to 2.00 higher from 202.60 
to 227.60, the basis ranged from 95 to 70 under the March Soybean Meal futures. 
Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 129 to 179 points lower from 30.96-31.46 cents per 
pound, the basis ranged from 50 points under to 0 points over the March soybean oil 
futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 10.00 lower from 140.00-190.00; Pork was 
limited at 200.00.  Yellow Grease was steady to 100 points higher from 21.00-22.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 50 points lower from 26.00-26.50 cents per 
pound. Feather Meal was steady from 310.00-330.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady 
from 800.00-850.00; Pork was limited from 850.00-900.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were 13.00 to 15.00 lower from 80.00-97.00  

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
