Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, January 21, 2020

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
The March Soybean Meal futures closed 2.90 lower at 299.10, May closed 2.80 lower at 
303.80. The March Soybean Oil futures closed 132 points lower at 32.75 cents per 
pound, May closed 131 points lower at 33.09 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of 
high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 2.90 to 6.90 lower from 269.10 to 279.10, 
the basis was steady to 4.00 lower from 30.00 to 20.00 under the March Soybean Meal 
futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 230.00-255.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was mixed, 10.00 
lower to 5.00 higher from 175.00-195.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola 
Meal was mixed, 1.40 lower to 23.60 higher from 200.60 to 235.60, the basis ranged 
from 100 to 65 under the March Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 116 
to 132 points lower from 32.25-33.25 cents per pound, the basis ranged from 50 points 
under to 50 points over the the March soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was mixed, 15.00 lower to 25.00 higher from 
150.00-200.00; Pork was limited at 200.00.  Yellow Grease was mixed 50 points lower 
to 50 points higher from 20.00-22.00 cents per pound with limited trading. Choice 
White Grease was 25 to 50 points higher from 26.50-27.00 cents per pound. Feather 
Meal was 10.00 to 20.00 higher from 310.00-330.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was 75.00 to 
100.00 higher from 800.00-825.00; Pork was limited at 850.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 lower from 95.00-110.00

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
