Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, October 08, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The December Soybean Meal futures closed 2.10 lower at 306.90 and March closed 80 
cents lower at 312.80. The December Soybean Oil futures closed 94 points higher at 
29.82 centers per pound and March closed 95 points higher at 30.33 cents per pound.  
The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 2.10 to 3.10 lower 
from 275.90-276.90, the basis was steady to 1.00 lower from 31.00 to 30.00 under the 
December Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 215.00-
235.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct 
protein was mixed, 5.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 150.00-185.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal ranged 216.90-236.90 with the basis from 90.00 to 70.00 
under the December Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 94 points 
higher from 29.82-31.07 cents per pound, the basis ranged 0 (option) to 125 points 
over the December soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 185.00-225.00; Pork was 10.00 
lower from 180.00-225.00. Yellow Grease was 25 to 100 points lower from 21.75-24.00 
cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to 150 points lower from 23.00-24.75 
cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 5.00 lower from 300.00-345.00, instances 
425.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 higher from 575.00-600.00; Pork was 
15.00 to 20.00 lower from 610.00-625.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 lower from 88.00-110.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
