Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, August 27, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The September Soybean Meal futures closed 2.50 lower at 291.50 and October closed 
2.30 lower at 293.60. The September Soybean Oil futures closed 42 points lower at 
28.01 centers per pound, the October Soybean Oil futures closed 40 points lower at 
28.14 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota 
was 2.50 lower from 263.50-266.50, the basis was steady from 28.00 to 25.00 under the 
September Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower 
from 215.00-245.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 
34 pct protein was 10.00 to 15.00 lower from 130.00-145.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 4.60 higher from 203.60-223.60 with the basis from 
90.00 to 70.00 under the October Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 
from 28.14-29.26 cents per pound; the basis ranged from 0 points over the October 
soybean oil futures to 125 points over the September soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 5.00 lower from 200.00-220.00; 
Pork was had limited trading at 235.00. Yellow Grease was 100 to 125 points lower 
from 24.00-25.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 125 points to 300 points 
lower from 25.75-26.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 300.00-370.00. 
Ruminant Blood Meal was 75.00 to 125.00 lower from 550.00-625.00; Pork was 675.00 
with limited trading.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady from 80.00-105.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
