Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, August 13th 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The August Soybean Meal futures closed 2.70 higher at 297.80 and September closed 
1.90 higher at 299.20. The August Soybean Oil futures closed 169 points higher at 
29.17 centers per pound, the September Soybean Oil futures closed 161 points higher 
at 29.17 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota 
was 90 cents to 1.90 higher from 271.20-274.20, the basis ranged from 28.00 to 25.00 
under the September Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 
5.00 higher from 225.00-255.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 
pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 lower from 140.00-145.00 in the North Dakota-
Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 1.90 to 6.90 higher from 204.20-224.20 with the basis 
ranged 75.00 to 95.00 under the September Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 169 points higher from 29.17-30.42 cents per pound; the basis was 
steady from 0 points to 125 points over the August soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 200.00-220.00; Pork was was 
5.00 to 15.00 higher from 235.00-245.00. Yellow Grease was 25 points lower from 
25.75-26.75 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 50 points lower from 
28.00-29.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 15 lower from 300.00-370.00, 
with an instance of 450. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 higher from 600.00-
675.00; Pork was mixed 25.00 lower to 15.00 higher from 675.00-715.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady from 85.00-110.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
