Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, July 09, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The August Soybean Meal futures closed 3.50 higher at 309.20 and September closed 
3.20 higher at 310.90. The August Soybean Oil futures closed 20 points higher at 
28.01 centers per pound, the September Soybean Oil futures closed 20 points lower at 
28.13 cents per pound. The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota 
was 3.50 to 5.50 higher from 280.20-281.20, the basis was steady to 2.00 higher from 
29.00 to 28.00 under the August Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein 
was steady from 225.00-235.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 
pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady from 140.00-145.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota 
area. Canola Meal ranged 224.20-239.20 with the basis from 85.00 to 70.00 under the 
August Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 35 to 85 points higher from 
27.51-29.01 cents per pound; the basis ranged 50 points under to 100 points over the 
August soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady from 200.00-220.00; Pork was steady 
to 10.00 higher from 220.00-230.00. Yellow Grease was 150 points higher from 24.00-
26.00. mostly 24.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 100 points 
higher from 27.00-28.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady to 25.00 lower from 
300.00-375.00, instances 450.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 25.00 lower from 
600.00-675.00; Pork was 25.00 to 50.00 higher from 650.00-750.00. 

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings was steady to 5.00 lower from 65.00-90.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
