Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 21, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The July Soybean Meal futures closed 2.70 lower at 295.30 and August closed 2.60 
lower at 296.90. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 14 points higher at 27.14 cents 
per pound and August closed 13 points higher at 27.26 cents per pound. The Rail 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was mixed 1.70 lower to 4.30 
higher from 263.30-270.30, the basis was steady to 1.00 to 7.00 higher from 32.00 to 
25.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 
15.00 lower from 210.00-250.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 
pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 135.00-140.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 2.70 lower from 200.30-215.30, the basis was 
steady from 80.00 to 95.00 under the July Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in 
Minnesota was 14 points higher from 26.64-27.64 cents per pound; the basis was steady 
from, 50 points under to 50 points over the July soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 20.00 to 35.00 higher from 190.00-220.00; 
Pork was 10.00 to 25 higher from 220.00-235. Yellow Grease was steady to 100 points 
higher from 20.50-23.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 100 points 
higher from 25.00-26.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was steady from 325.00-400.00 
with instances of 540. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady from 660.00-800.00; Pork ranged 
from 775.00-825.00. 

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings Ranged 80.00-90.00 with an instance of 60.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
