Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, May 07, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The July Soybean Meal futures closed 6.90 lower at 293.20 and August closed 6.70 
lower at 294.80. The July Soybean Oil futures closed 78 points lower at 27.10 cents 
per pound and August closed 78 points lower at 27.24 cents per pound. The Rail 
delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 6.90 lower from 259.20-261.20, 
the basis was steady from 34.00 to 32.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Linseed 
Meal, 34 pct protein was steady to 15.00 lower from 210.00-250.00 in the North 
Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 5.00 to 10.00 
lower from 150.00-155.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 11.90 
lower from 198.20-208.20, the basis was 5.00 lower from 85.00 to 95.00 under the July 
Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 78 points lower from 26.60-27.60 
cents per pound; the basis was steady from, 50 points under to 50 points over the 
July soybean oil futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 20.00 to 40.00 lower from 140.00-210.00; 
Pork was 35.00 lower with limited trade at 200.00. Yellow Grease was 50 to 75 points 
higher from 19.75-21.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was steady to 100 points 
higher from 23.00-25.00 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 40.00 to 50.00 lower from 
350.00-400.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 40.00 lower from 660.00-800.00; Pork 
was steady to 50.00 lower with limited trade at 825.00. 

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were mixed, 3.00 lower to 3.00 higher from 60.00-80.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
