Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, Apr 16, 2019

Oilseed and Animal feedstuffs were mixed this week 

Oilseeds:
   The May Soybean Meal futures closed 2.60 lower at 306.50, July close 2.70 
lower at 310.10. The May Soybean Oil futures closed 32 points lower at 28.72 
cents per pound and July closed 33 points lower at 29.02 cents per pound.  
The Rail delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 2.60 lower from 
274.50-281.50, the basis was steady from 32.00 to 25.00 under the May Soybean 
Meal futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 235.00-250.00 in the 
North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
steady to 10.00 lower from 160.00-170.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. 
Canola Meal was 2.60 to 12.60 lower at 216.50, the basis was steady to 10.00 
lower at 90.00 under the May Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota 
was 2 to 7 points lower from 28.52-29.22 cents per pound; the basis ranged 
50 points under the July futures to 50 points over the May soybean oil 
futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was steady to 5.00 higher from 175.00-
230.00; Pork was steady to 25.00 lower from 210.00-235.00.  Yellow Grease was 
steady to 50 points higher from 18.50-22.00 cents per pound. Choice White 
Grease was steady from 21.00-23.50 cents per pound.  Feather Meal was 15.00 to 
20.00 lower from 430.00-485.00. Ruminant Blood Meal was steady to 65.00 higher 
from 700.00-765.00; Pork was 50.00 to 75.00 higher from 800.00-825.00. 

Millfeeds:
   Wheat Middlings were steady to 5.00 lower from 68.00-80.00.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. 
Animal ingredients are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
