Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, October 10, 2017
**All prices are quoted per ton, unless otherwise noted. **

Feedstuffs were mostly mixed. Demand was light for animal protein, moderate for 
oilseeds and wheat middlings.

Oilseeds:
   The December Soybean Meal futures closed 4.70 higher at 316.20, January closed 
4.80 higher at 318.30. The December Soybean Oil futures closed 36 points higher at 
33.11 cents per pound, January closed 36 points higher at 33.29 cents per pound. The 
Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 3.70 to 4.70 higher from 
277.20-292.20, the basis was steady to 1.00 lower from 39.00 to 24.00 under the 
December futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was steady from 215.00-220.00 in the 
North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was steady 
to 10.00 higher from 150.00-160.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal 
was mixed, 0.30 lower to 9.60 higher at 186.20 with the basis at 130.00 under the 
December Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 36 to 60 points higher at 
32.36 cents per pound; the basis was at 75 points under the December futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 5.00-10.00 lower from 250.00-260.00; Pork 
had limited trade 25.00 lower at 255.00. Yellow Grease was 50 to 150 points lower 
from 25.00-26.50 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 100 to 300 points lower 
from 25.00-27.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was 10.00 to 25.00 lower from 385.00-
430.00. Blood Meal was steady from 610.00-625.00; Pork had limited trade 25.00 lower 
at 650.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were steady to 3.00 lower from 60.00-80.00. The Sacked Bran was 
steady at 23.00 cwt.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. Animal ingredients 
are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
