Minnesota Feedstuffs - Prices for the week ending Tuesday, October 3, 2017
**All prices are quoted per ton, unless otherwise noted. **

Feedstuffs were mostly mixed, mostly lower this past week. Demand was light.

Oilseeds:
   The October Soybean Meal futures closed 1.50 lower at 307.30, December futures 
closed 1.60 lower at 311.50, January closed 1.80 lower at 313.50. The October Soybean 
Oil futures closed 72 points lower at 32.51 cents per pound, December closed 70 
points lower at 32.75 cents per pound, January closed 69 points lower at 32.93 cents 
per pound. The Truck delivery of high protein Soybean Meal in Minnesota was 5.30 to 
9.60 lower from 273.50-287.50, the basis ranged from 38.00 to 24.00 under the 
December futures. Linseed Meal, 34 pct protein was 10.00 lower from 215.00-220.00 in 
the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Sunflower Meal, 13 pct fiber, 34 pct protein was 
10.00 to 15.00 higher at 150.00 in the North Dakota-Minnesota area. Canola Meal was 
mixed, 6.60 lower to 2.70 higher from 176.50-186.50 with the basis from 135.00 to 
125.00 under the December Soybean Meal futures. Soybean Oil in Minnesota was 73 to 94 
points lower from 31.76-32.00 cents per pound; the basis ranged from 75 points under 
the October futures to 75 points under the December futures.

Animal Protein: 
   Meat and Bone Meal, 50 pct protein was 15.00-20.00 lower from 260.00-265.00; Pork 
had limited trade 30.00 lower at 280.00. Yellow Grease was 100 to 150 points lower 
from 26.50-27.00 cents per pound. Choice White Grease was 50 to 150 points lower from 
28.00-28.50 cents per pound. Feather Meal was mixed, 5.00 lower to 10.00 higher from 
410.00-440.00. Blood Meal was 75.00 lower from 610.00-625.00; Pork had limited trade 
75.00 lower at 675.00.

Millfeeds:
  Wheat Middlings were 2.00 to 5.00 lower from 63.00-80.00. The Sacked Bran was 
steady at 23.00 cwt.

Bids/Offers prices are bulk per ton, in carlots unless specified. Animal ingredients 
are delivered MPLS, other ingredients are FOB.
