Internet Lamb Auction Report from Baraboo, WI 

Sales on Thursday, October 19, 2017

   Compared to last sale:  Slaughter lambs traded 1.25 per cwt higher.  This 
week’s offering included 335 head of mostly shorn slaughter lambs from North 
Dakota, with an average weight of 150 pounds.  Unshorn lambs will bring a 
discount of 2.00 per cwt and rams will have a discount of 10.00 per cwt.  North 
Dakota Slaughter lambs sell FOB with a three percent shrink or equivalent.  
There are also 318 head of slaughter lambs from Nebraska, with a 130 pound 
average, all unshorn and sell 4 percent shrink on the truck.  The state 
identified is the state of origin.  Prices quoted per cwt.  Current delivery 
unless otherwise noted.
