Grower bids for corn and soybeans were steady. Contracted Commodities are being moved this week and harvest is underway. NASS crop progress report October 15, 2017 has Louisiana soybeans at 92%, Arkansas has 73% soybeans, Kentucky has 88% corn and 39% soybeans, Tennessee has 93% corn and 59% soybeans, Texas has corn at 76%, Kansas has corn 74% and 25% soybeans, Missouri has corn at 77% and 32% soybeans at 1%, Illinois has 71% corn and 55% soybeans, Indiana has 50% corn and 51% soybeans, North Dakota has 19% corn and 84% soybeans, Iowa has 31% corn and 59% soybeans, Michigan has 15% corn and 30% soybeans, North Carolina has 94% corn and soybeans at 14%, Ohio has 34% corn and 58% soybeans, South Dakota has 19% corn and soybeans at 75%, Wisconsin has 12% corn and 44% soybeans, Minnesota has 29% corn and 84% soybeans, Nebraska has 32% corn and soybeans at 59% and Mississippi soybeans at 86%, Colorado has 29% corn, Michigan has 10% corn and 13% soybeans harvested. AMS average cash reports closes October 17, 2017; corn was 3.28 with a range of 3.22-3.33 and soybeans was 9.37 with a range of 9.34-9.41. Regions are defined at bottom of report. Grower Bids: bids reported thresher run in dollars per bushel and delivered elevator/warehouse in car lot or truck lots.
