Grower bids for corn and soybeans were steady. Contracted Commodities are being moved this week and harvest is underway. NASS crop progress report October 10, 2017 has Louisiana soybeans at 85%, Arkansas has 57% soybeans, Kentucky has 81% corn and 29% soybeans, Tennessee has 93% corn and 42% soybeans, Texas has corn at 76%, Kansas has corn 60% and 14% soybeans, Missouri has corn at 68% and 22% soybeans at 1%, Illinois has 59% corn and 36% soybeans, Indiana has 36% corn and 30% soybeans, North Dakota has 9% corn and 70% soybeans, Iowa has 18% corn and 40% soybeans, Michigan has 10% corn and 13% soybeans, North Carolina has 92% corn and soybeans at 11%, Ohio has 22% corn and 28% soybeans, South Dakota has 19% corn and soybeans at 56%, Wisconsin has 12% corn and 21% soybeans, Minnesota has 13% corn and 61% soybeans, Nebraska has 22% corn and soybeans at 42% and Mississippi soybeans at 79%, Colorado has 18% corn, Michigan has 10% corn and 13% soybeans. AMS average cash reports closes October 10, 2017; corn was 3.19 with a range of 3.11-3.28 and soybeans was 9.14 with a range of 9.09-9.18. Regions are defined at bottom of report.
