   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review: Compared to last week, feeder steers
were 3.00 higher.  Feeder heifers and feeder bulls were unevenly steady.  
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 200.00-242.50; 500-600 
lbs 195.00-223.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
190.00-227.50; 500-600 lbs 190.00-216.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 185.00-213.00; 500-600 lbs 185.00-207.00.  
Slaughter cows were steady.  Slaughter Cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 90.00-
108.00; Boners 80-85% lean 104.00-111.00; High Dressing 100.00-118.00; 
Lean 85-90% lean 85.00-97.00; Lean low dressing 60.00-89.00.  Slaughter 
bulls were steady.  Slaughter Bulls: Average dressing 795-2170 lbs 
100.00-124.00; High Dressing 1525-2255 lbs 120.00-131.00; Low Dressing 
985-1295 lbs 88.00-105.00.
   Goats: [197] Week Ago: 193 Reported Monday to Wednesday. Slaughter 
and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights are 
estimated.  Kids: Sel 1 20-40 lbs 50.00-80.00, 40-60 lbs 55.00-110.00; 
Sel 2 20-40 lbs 40.00-50.00, 40-60 lbs 35.00-100.00.  Does/Nannies: Sel 1 
70-100 lbs 150.00, 100-150 lbs 150.00-180.00; Sel 2 50-70 lbs 55.00-
85.00, 70-100 lbs 52.50-120.00.  Bucks/Billies: Sel 1 70-100 lbs 140.00-

   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn bids were 6 to 7 cents higher; elevator bids 
5.64-7.26, processor bids 6.76-7.43.  Soybean bids were 19 to 21 cents 
higher; elevator bids 13.36-14.54, processor bid 15.36 and export no bid.  
New crop wheat bids 7 to 8 cents higher; elevator bids 5.47-6.00.
   Cotton on Friday.  Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 2.14 
higher at 83.65.
