SC Farm Report on Wednesday

   Cattle at SC auctions on Tuesday:  No comparisons made this week due 
to limited comparable sales.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 197.50-215.00; 500-600 lbs 209.00-213.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 202.50-212.50; 500-600 lbs 199.00-210.00.  Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 190.00-196.00; 500-600 lbs none 
reported.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 95.00-96.00; Boners 80-
85% lean 95.00-105.00; Lean 85-90% lean 88.00-96.00; Lean Low Dressing 
70.00-82.00.  Slaughter bulls: Average Dressing 104.00-113.00, High 
Dressing 128.00; Low Dressing none reported.
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  None reported.
   Hogs on Tuesday:  Plant delivered weighted average.  National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was not reported.  Sows live 
price 300-450 lbs 35.30; 450-500 lbs 38.80; 500-550 lbs 41.43.
   SC Grain on Wednesday:  Corn was 5 to 11 cents lower; elevator bids 5.93-7.97,
processor bids 7.16-7.62.  Soybeans were 12 to 13 cents lower;
elevator bids 14.06-14.91, processor bids 15.78, and export 15.18. 
New crop wheat bids were 8 to 17 cents lower; elevator bids 6.13-6.66.  
   Cotton on Wednesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.18 
lower at 83.40.
