SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday:  No comparisons this week due to 
limited comparable sales.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 205.00-237.50, 500-600 lbs 200.00-237.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 205.00-226.00, 500-600 lbs 195.00-217.00.  Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 195.00-210.00, 500-600 lbs 
190.00-205.00.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 93.00-109.00; Boners 
85-85% lean 91.00-111.00; Lean 85-90% lean 85.00-99.00; Lean low dressing 
69.00-85.00.  Slaughter Bulls: Average Dressing 1120-1770 lbs 98.00-
122.00, High dressing 1090-2290 lbs 119.00-128.00, Low dressing 1495-2635 
lbs 88.00-91.00. 
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2 685-1090 lbs Young to Middle Age 
Cows with calves under 300 lbs 950.00-1275.00 per pair.  Small 1-2 710 
lbs Middle Age Cow with calf under 300 lbs 725.00 per pair. 
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs price was 0.32 higher at 
53.04.  Sows live price 300-450 lbs 34.90; 450-500 lbs 37.62; 500-550 lbs 
43.05.      
   SC Grain on Tuesday: Corn was 1 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 6.04-
8.02, processor bids 7.27-7.67.  Soybeans were 2 to 6 cents higher; 
elevator bids 14.19-15.04, processor bid 15.91, and export 15.31.  New 
Crop Wheat bids were 2 to 4 cents higher; elevator bids 6.21-7.09.
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 2.55 
higher at 84.58.
