SC Farm Report on Monday

   National direct slaughter cattle weekly summary. Weighted averages
for all grades, Standard to Prime, mostly Select and Choice. Live FOB
steers 1,387 lbs at 123.76, heifers 1,250 lbs at 123.33. Dressed 
delivered steers 881 lbs at 198.92, heifers 793 lbs at 198.65. Weekly 
boxed beef cutout values for 600-900 carcass weights Choice 230.27, dn 
3.22, and Select 216.36, dn 4.31.
   National direct feeder pigs last Friday, per head weighted average
prices are delivered to the buyer's farm.  Early weaned pigs 2.00 per head
lower.  All feeder pigs 6.00 per head lower. Demand light to moderate 
for moderate offerings. Receipts include 50% formulated prices. Feeder 
pigs 10-12 lbs cash basis 63.16; 40 lbs cash basis 90.54.
   Hogs on Friday. Plant delivered weighted average. National direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.25 higher at 61.94.  
Sows live price 300-449 lbs 55.01, 450-499 lbs 63.85, and 500-549 lbs 
66.07.
   SC Grain on Monday. Corn was 7 to 8 cents lower; elevator bids 3.84-3.96,
processor bids 3.86-4.36.  Soybeans were 9 to 13 cents lower; elevator bids 7.42-7.86,
processor bid 8.38, export bid 8.40. New crop wheat was mostly 1 cent lower; elevator bids
4.17-4.47. 
   Cotton on Monday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 2.13 lower at 70.30.
