SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday:  No comparisons this week due to 
limited comparable sales.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 
lbs 142.50-155.00, 500-600 lbs 132.00-147.50.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and 
Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 140.00-155.00, 500-600 lbs 132.50-140.00. Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 125.00-135.00, 500-600 lbs 
120.00-132.00.  Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 46.00-66.00; Boners 
85-85% lean 50.00-73.00; Lean 85-90% lean 51.00-61.00; Lean low dressing 
31.00-49.00.  Slaughter Bulls: 1135-2135 lbs 73.00-101.00. 
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 2-3 915-1345 lbs Young to Middle Age

   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.49 higher at 62.08.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 54.73; 450-500 lbs 60.50; 500-550 lbs 63.19. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  New Crop Corn was 1 to 2 cents higher; 
elevator bids 4.12-4.17, processor bids 4.18-4.48.  Soybeans were 9 
cents lower; elevator bids 7.55-8.00, processor bid 8.50, export bid 
8.50. New Crop Wheat was mostly 8 cents higher; elevator bids 4.24-
4.54. 
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 1.26 
lower at 72.20.
