SC Farm Report on Tuesday

   Cattle at SC Auctions on Monday:  No comparisons this week due to 
limited comparable sales. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 
152.50-166.00, 500-600 lbs 139.00-159.00.  Feeder Bulls: Medium and Large 
1-2 400-500 lbs 149.00-160.00, 500-600 lbs 146.00-165.00.  Feeder 
Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 129.00-148.00, 500-600 lbs 
123.00-135.00. Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean 53.00-68.00; Boners 
85-85% lean 56.00-74.00; Lean 85-90% lean 50.00-62.00; Lean low dressing 
30.00-49.00.  Slaughter Bulls: 1005-2050 lbs 75.00-99.00. 
   Cow/Calf Pairs:  Medium and Large 1-2 1010-1170 lbs Young to Middle 
age cows with 145-370 lbs calves 810.00-1300.00 per pair.  Small to 
Medium 1-2 740-1145 lbs Young age to Aged cows with 115-290 lbs calves 
550.00-1065.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Monday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 250-300 lbs was 0.55 higher at 62.58.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 54.32; 450-500 lbs 59.91; 500-550 lbs 62.00. 
   SC Grain on Tuesday.  Corn was steady; elevator bids 4.05-4.11, 
processor bids 4.10-4.40.  Soybeans were 6 to 7 cents lower; elevator 
bids 7.66-8.11, processor bid 8.61, and export 8.61.  New Crop Wheat was 
mostly 6 to 7 cents lower; elevator bids 4.08-4.38. 
   Cotton on Tuesday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.17 
lower at 73.53.
