SC Farm Report on Friday   
	          
   SC Cattle Auctions Weekly Review:  Compared to last week, all classes
of feeder cattle were 2.00 lower. Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 
1-2 400-500 lbs 132.50-155.00; 500-600 lbs 128.00-143.00.  Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 135.00-159.00; 500-600 lbs 113.00-
136.00.  Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 120.00-140.00, 
500-600 lbs 116.00-130.00.  Slaughter cows were 3.00 lower.  Slaughter 
cows: Breakers 70-80% lean 50.00-65.00; Boners 80-85% lean 50.00-64.00; 
Lean 85-90% lean 55.00-65.00; Lean low dressing 40.00-54.00.  Slaughter 
bulls were 3.00 lower: 1000-2175 lbs 48.00-92.00. 
   Goats: [389] Week Ago: 409.  Reported Monday to Wednesday. 
Slaughter and replacement classes sold on a per head basis and weights 
are estimated.  Kids:  Sel 1 under 20 lbs 30.00-47.50, 20-40 lbs 40.00-
95.00, 40-60 lbs 65.00-115.00, 60-80 lbs 90.00-150.00; Sel 2 Under 20 
lbs one @ 32.50, 20-40 lbs 75.00-82.50, 40-60 lbs one @ 100.00.

   SC Grain on Friday.  Corn was steady to 1 cent higher; elevator bids 
3.35-3.99, processor bids 3.90-4.15.  New Crop soybeans were 4 cents 
higher; elevator bids 9.12-9.22, processor bid 9.62 and export bid 9.77.  
New Crop Wheat was 1 to 5 cents higher; elevator bids 3.90-4.56. 
   Cotton on Friday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.57 
higher at 69.59.
