SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
  Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week, feeder
steers and feeder bulls were unevenly steady.  Feeder heifers were 
mostly steady to 3.00 lower.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs 132.50-140.00, 500-600 lbs 122.00-140.00.  Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 125.00-145.00, 500-600 lbs 115.00-
132.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 120.00-140.00, 
500-600 lbs 110.00-125.00.  Slaughter cows were steady to 2.00 lower. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean N/A; Boners 85-85% lean 50.00-
61.00; Lean 85-90% lean N/A; Lean low dressing 33.00-47.00.  Slaughter 
Bulls were steady to 2.00 lower.  Slaughter Bulls:  1000-2085 lbs 
55.00-83.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium 1-2 925-1570 lbs Young to Aged cows with 100-
425 lbs calves 750.00-1625.00 per pair.  
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 1.62 higher at 39.79.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 32.07; 450-500 lbs 32.65; 500-550 lbs 
34.46. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  Corn was 1 to 2 cents higher; elevator bids 
3.34-3.99, processor bids 3.89-4.14. New Crop soybeans were 10 cents 
higher; elevator bids 9.08-9.18, processor bid 9.58, and export at 9.73. 
New Crop wheat was steady to 1 cent higher; elevator bids 3.86-4.51. 
  Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 0.53 
lower at 69.02.
