APPLES FOR PROCESSING

Trading is fairly active for offerings of juice apples. Prices for 
juice apples per cwt. are higher from 12.00-14.00 delivered.  
Tablesorts and eliminators from fresh-pack lines are unchanged and 
range from 14.00-15.00 per cwt. Processors are offering 20.00-21.00 
per cwt. for tree-run preferred varieties out of CA storage for sauce 
and slicers.  The Michigan Processing Apple Growers Marketing 
Committee did not negotiate a minimum juice price or for undersize 
process apples for the 2018 season.
