Broiler/Fryer: Weekly Fryers Available for Marketing (Wed)

Based on the preliminary chick placements, the number of fryers
available for marketing during the week ending 11-Nov-17 is
estimated at 156.5 million head.  This compares to 159.6
million head the previous week and to 155.5 million head the
same week a year ago, when the slaughter was 166.0 million head
and the national weighted average price was 72.04 cents per pound.
