SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance


Prices of New York eggs are 2 cents lower for Extra Large, Large and 
Medium.  Regional and California prices are steady.  The undertone is 
mostly lower.  Offerings in California are light to short of needs for 
Jumbo, moderate to heavy on remaining sizes.  Offerings elsewhere are
moderate to heavy.  Demand is generally light to moderate.  Current 
supplies are moderate to heavy for needs.  Market activity is slow 
to moderate.  Breaking stock offerings are moderate to heavy for the 
moderate demand.  Light type hen supplies are light to moderate for 
reduced processor needs; demand remains light and unaggressive.
