SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance


Prices in New York are 2 cents lower for Extra Large and Large, 
unchanged for Medium.  Regional and California prices are steady.  
Asking prices for next week’s deliveries are trending unchanged 
for Jumbo, lower on all other sizes.  The undertone is steady to 
lower.  Offerings are moderate.  Demand ranges light to fairly good, 
usually light to moderate.  Supplies are moderate to heavy in the 
Northeast, light to moderate in the Southeast, moderate elsewhere.  
Market activity is slow to moderate.  Breaking stock offerings are 
light to moderate for the moderate to fairly good demand.  Light hen 
supplies are sufficient for current processing schedules.
