SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance


Prices in New York are 2 cents lower for Medium, 3 cents lower 
for larger sizes.  Regional and California prices are steady.  
The undertone is steady to lower, mostly lower.  Offerings are 
light to moderate in the Southeast, moderate elsewhere.  Demand 
ranges light to fairly good, generally light to moderate.  Supplies 
are mixed and are moderate to heavy in the Northeast, light to 
moderate in the Southeast, moderate in the remaining areas.  Market 
activity is slow to moderate.  Breaking stock offerings are light 
for the moderate to fairly good demand.  Light hen supplies are 
adequate for full-time processing schedules.
