SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance


New York egg prices are unchanged on larger sizes and Medium.  California
and regional prices are steady.  The undertone is steady to lower.
Supplies are moderate, however moderate to heavy in the Northeast and
light to moderate in the Southeast.  The total shell egg inventory is
down 0.1 percent when compared to the previous week. Demand into all
channels is in a full range, mostly light to moderate.  Offerings are
at times light to moderate.  Market activity is slow to moderate, while
moderate to instances active in the Southeast region.  Breaking stock
floor stocks are light to moderate; breaking schedules are in a full
range.  Light type hen demand remains light and unaggressive as
offerings increased in availability.
