SHELL EGGS: Daily National Egg Market-at-a-Glance


Regional and California prices are 4 cents higher for Jumbo, up 3 to
12 cents for Extra Large and Large, steady to 4 cents higher for Medium
and Small.  New York prices are unchanged on all sizes.  The undertone
is steady to lower.  Retail and food service demand is light to moderate
in the Midwest and Northeast regions, moderate to fairly good in the
remaining areas.  Offerings are at times light to moderate.  Supplies
are generally moderate for needs to start the week.  Market activity
is instances slow to moderate.  Breaking stock offerings are light to
moderate; demand is in a range of light to fairly good.  Light type
fowl supplies are sufficient for full-time processing schedules.
