SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (959), 
WINONA (437), PHILADELPHIA (602), and BROOKHAVEN (484) ON 
Tues Oct 17, 2017

Receipts:       2,482         Last Week:      1,702        Last Year:    1,447

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 lower and bulls 
sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold steady. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 9 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 43 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
