SUMMARY OF 2 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN LUCEDALE (1000) and 
COMO (415) ON Wed Oct 4, 2017

Receipts:        1,415          Last Week:    1,269        Last Year:    750

   Compared to last Wednesday, slaugter cows sold 1.00 lower and 
bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower. Feeder steers and heifers sold mixed. 
The supply included 8 percent slaughter cows and 13 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 65 percent steers 
and 35 percent heifers, with an estimated 10 percent of the feeder supply 
weighing over 600 lbs.
