SUMMARY OF 4 MISSISSIPPI CATTLE AUCTIONS HELD IN TYLERTOWN (755), 
WINONA (172), PHILADELPHIA (426), and BROOKHAVEN (431) ON 
Tues Oct 3, 2017

Receipts:       1,784         Last Week:      1,912        Last Year:    2,041

   Compared to last Tuesday, slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 2.00 lower 
and bulls sold steady. Feeder steers sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower 
and heifers sold 1.00 to 4.00 lower. 
The supply included 9 percent slaughter cows and 7 percent 
pairs/replacements. The feeder supply included 57 percent steers and 43 percent 
heifers, with an estimated 12 percent of the feeder supply weighing over 600 lbs.
